Type the
information for the domain name you wish to transfer in
the text boxes and press the "Submit" button. You will
be taken to the Confirmation of Transfer web page.
-
Your acceptance
of the Confirmation of Transfer acknowledges that the
name is accurate and that you have the authority to
request a domain name transfer for the domain name you
entered. It also authorizes Anchor WebHost to
execute the transfer. We will send an e-mail
documenting your acceptance of the Confirmation of
Transfer to the email address you entered.
-
Within 5 business
days, we will send an e-mail to the Administrative
Contact of each domain as it appears in the registrar's
WHOIS database. You can speed up the transfer process
by replying promptly if you are the Administrative
Contact or by asking the Administrative Contact to
reply promptly.
-
We will execute
the transfer command on the approved name and charge
your account. We will send you an e-mail outlining the
status of your transfer.
Possible reasons we may be unable to process a name
include, but are not limited to:
-
The domain is
LOCKED.
-
The
Authorization Code was
not supplied or was incorrect for a DNS with a ".ORG"
extension.
-
The domain has
been registered less than 60 days.
-
The domain is
within 10 days of the expiration date.
-
The
Administrative Contact of the domain refused the
transfer request.
-
The domain is
under dispute and has been placed on Registrar-Lock
or Registrar-Hold.
-
The
Administrative Contact E-mail address is incorrect or
not working.
-
It may take up to
5 additional days for the transfer to take place.
-
For your
protection, we will not make any changes to the domain
name record during the transfer process. In addition,
after a successful transfer to Anchor WebHost,
no modifications will be allowed to the domain name
record for a period not to exceed 15 days.
-
Transferring your
name to Anchor WebHost extends your registration
by one (1) year from its current expiration date.
